This past weekend, TMD staff traveled to Pasadena to assist the City in kicking-off the public outreach for Draft Short-Range Transit Plan Recommendations. For more info, visit the project website at?bit.ly/PasadenaSRTP

TMD team members recently traveled to Bozeman, Montana to work with Streamline and Galavan on an update to their Transit Development Plan. We held pop-up events and 11 focus group meetings with key community stakeholders. It was great to meet everyone, interact with the Bozeman community, and see real-world impact of the work we're doing!

We enjoyed working with Victor Valley Transit recently to develop a new bus network for their region, including simpler routes, more consistent frequencies and hours of service, and changes to coverage for the area. The first phase of the plan went into service on October 6, bringing an even better transit network to the High Desert area! After community outreach, analysis of the region’s geography and people and more, we worked together and created this network with the goal of improving performance and addressing the needs of the area. On July 9, Santa Monica City Council adopted the Brighter Blue five-year plan to improve Big Blue Bus service. The plan focuses on creating a network of high-frequency 10-minute service, expanding service hours throughout the week, and improving connections to future LA Metro light rail extensions. We really enjoyed leading this project along with our team members at Fehr & Peers and Arellano Associates and look forward to following its progress through implementation. https://lnkd.in/gUTMJBJN

On Monday, the City of Irvine launched their new Connect bus service that Fehr & Peers and TMD - Transportation Management & Design, Inc. designed based on great input from residents and business stakeholders, city staff, and support from council. What a rare treat to be boarding a bus and having the people already on it cheering because they're so excited to have a new resource in their community and to see people actually using it! A group from our Irvine office took the bus out to lunch at the Spectrum. Great experience both ways. Congrats to the City and thanks to council for having the vision to support something like this.
