Q: What has been the highlight of your career as the President & Founder of Transport Pro? A: Relationships. While we’ve created amazing software and our growth speaks volumes, we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of all the incredible people we’ve worked with over the last 15 years. ?? From team members and mentors to our amazing customers, each and every one has positively impacted my career and life. We owe our success to everyone who believed in us and helped build Transport Pro into the great community it is today. We’re excited for what the future holds! ??** Q: What did you do before Transport Pro? A: Before Transport Pro, I worked at BluegrassNet Development in Louisville, KY. That’s where I got my start in web applications! ?? My team and I were building some of the first eCommerce and custom web applications back in 1999, when most people didn’t even know what the internet was. ?? Q: What motivates you? A: Innovation and creativity! ?? The transportation tech space has evolved dramatically over the last 15 years, and I believe it will change even faster in the next 5-10 years. I love collaborating with our customers and partners, hearing their challenges, and then creating solutions to help them—sometimes in a matter of days! We’re lucky to have a nimble platform that lets me create new features on a Monday night and have them in beta testing by Tuesday. ?** Q: What do you do for fun? A: Living in the FL Keys means the ocean is my backyard ??! Most weekends, you’ll find me on my boat, fishing ??, snorkeling ??, or just soaking up the sun ??. I’m also part of a community steel pan orchestra in Marathon, FL, where I play the triple cello pans. ?? Music has always been part of my life, and it’s a great way to take a break from the tech side of things for a bit. ?? Q: What is your favorite food? A: That’s a tough one because I love food! ?? But if I had to choose, seafood is at the top of the list.
