关于我们
What do U.S. Government personnel, the military, public libraries, universities, and business executives have in common? They turn to Transparent Language for their language-learning needs. They're serious about languages, and so are we. At Transparent Language, we treat language learning as more than just a casual pursuit. For our customers, including some of the U.S. government's most stringent language schools, success is not optional. Their students must reach a specified level of proficiency in a set amount of time. We make their challenge our mission: to train language faster with more reliable results. We asked 100 public librarians about the biggest struggles supporting English Language Learners in their communities. Most answers fell into 3 categories: ???52% struggle with outreach & marketing across language barriers ??17% lack of materials or don't know which materials to provide ????13% don't have enough staff or volunteers to launch/scale programs So we found three librarians running impressive ELL programs to share how they've overcome these challenges. Join us October 16th at 1pm for a live discussion. (Registration link in the comments.) #libraries #ELLs

So this is what they mean by "kismet". That's how it felt walking by this sculpture into Forsyth County Public Library this morning for the NC LIVE / NCSU Libraries Resource Workshop. Nothing like strolling past this statue featuring the word "library" in dozens of languages. While on our way to train North Carolina librarians on Transparent Language Online. So they can promote language learning to their communities. Just a little library magic. Which we encounter in abundance working with librarians. PS - Bravo to Lauren Gancarz for a great session. ??

If you need to learn Chinese for work, you want Xin Liu to be your teacher. Trust us. Better yet, trust his students! He is currently tutoring five professionals who are preparing to move overseas for new work assignments. Here's what they had to say: ?"I started learning Chinese from scratch with him about five months ago and now feel completely comfortable having hour-long conversations fully in Chinese. This progress would not have been possible without his patience and guidance. I cannot say enough good things about his teaching!" ?"Every lesson is delivered with such clarity and precision that even the most complex grammar points become easy to understand. Xin Liu has an incredible ability to break down difficult concepts, ensuring I fully grasp each topic before moving on." ?"Liu has been an incredible resource for me as someone who started learning Chinese with no prior experience. He is very patient, adjusting to each student’s weaknesses while reinforcing their strengths." ? "He consistently provides exercises and examples to clarify anything I'm struggling with. His study materials have been my go-to for test preparation because they are so well-prepared and densely packed with key vocabulary and grammar." Above and beyond is his baseline. And it shows in his students' results. Bravo Xin! ??
