Transparent Classroom

Recently, some of our users have tried to upload photos using the Transparent Classroom app. After these photos are uploaded to our system, staff members are only able to see the description box on the [Activity] page and not the actual photo. This is happening for our users who are still using our old app to upload photos. We have not supported our old app for over a year, and it has stopped working permanently. Please download our new app and try re-uploading your photos that way. Feel free to reach out to our team at [email protected] if you continue to have any issues.

With all of the fantastic features Transparent Classroom offers, our Reports pages may sometimes be overlooked. If you hover your cursor over [Reports] on the navigation menu, you will see multiple options for gathering data on the students and classrooms at your school. This data will provide insight into how children progress in each curriculum area, how many activities are recorded for each child every week, which curriculum areas they receive the most lessons in, and more! It’s conference report season! Did you know that you can use Transparent Classroom to make conference reports for your school? The first step of making conference reports is for an admin at the school to design a template. To do that, the admin can go to [Admin] > [Design Conference Reports] > click an existing template to edit it or click [New] to create a new template. If you’re searching for just the right template and aren’t sure where to get started, you can always look at the templates we’ve designed for you, or you can look at templates that are being shared by other schools on the [Admin] > [Design Conference Reports] > [New] page. When you find a template you like, you can click [Copy to our school] to edit it and use it at your school. Then you can edit the conference report template using the widgets on the left side of the screen. When it looks the way you want it to, be sure to click [Save]! For Admin users, your school's Sessions are important settings you should check at the beginning and end of each school year. Sessions are important because they are how we bill you. We base your bill on the number of children enrolled in your current session. This number can fluctuate as you add or remove children from a session. We will prorate you for any children who were added or removed based on the number of days they were in the current session. By default, Transparent Classroom has two sessions per year. We provide you with a summer session and an academic year session, but you can add additional sessions or compress sessions as needed. When thinking about sessions, it's best to ask yourself, "When do my teachers need access to their students to do lesson planning, record keeping, or to catch up on any photo tagging or conference report generating?". The Announcements feature on Transparent Classroom is an excellent way for the administration team to communicate with the entire school community or for teachers to communicate with their students' parents. You can use the Announcements feature to share photos, classroom newsletters, important information, and more! Once you press [Send], parents will receive an email notification that includes the new announcement, which they will also see on the Transparent Classroom homepage. Any attachments or photos will be included as links in the email. Replies will be sent to the email address associated with the staff user who sent the announcement. Announcements sent to the whole school will be shared with ALL parents in the current session. If an announcement is only sent to a specific classroom, only the parents who have children in that classroom will be able to see the announcement. #EducationForPeace #Montessori #TransparentClassroom #MontessoriEducation
