Pinch of sea salt For the Garnish: ? Fresh strawberries (sliced or halved) ? Optional: Mint leaves for extra freshness ? Optional: Dark chocolate shavings Instructions: 1. Make the Crust: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers (or wafer cookies), sugar, and melted butter. 3. Press the mixture evenly into a 9-inch tart pan, making sure to cover the bottom and sides. 4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Remove and let it cool completely. 2. Prepare the Filling: 1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer (but don’t let it boil). 2. Remove the cream from the heat and pour it over the chopped dark chocolate in a bowl. 3. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth and creamy. 4. Stir in the butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt until fully incorporated and glossy. 3. Assemble the Tart: 1. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled tart crust, spreading it out evenly with a spatula. 2. Let the tart sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, then transfer it to the fridge to set for at least 2 hours (or until firm). 4. Garnish and Serve: 1. Just before serving, slice or halve fresh strawberries and arrange them beautifully on top of the set chocolate tart. 2. For an extra touch, sprinkle dark chocolate shavings over the strawberries and add a few mint leaves for a pop of color. 3. Slice and enjoy! This rich, smooth dark chocolate tart contrasts beautifully with the fresh, juicy strawberries, providing an elegant and delicious dessert perfect for any occasion.
