Some tracking devices also monitor condition data (such as temperature data, or alignment of goods) via continuous monitoring to comply with shipping regulations and maintain product quality. Additional features allow users to geofence a specific area in order to restrict goods movement in a specified territory. IoT devices can also help overcome issues of theft by instantly notifying on-site personnel about any intrusion into containers.
