As part of our Month of Service in October, a team from TransCore spent the day volunteering at Unto, a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to relieving suffering by providing food, clean water, and critical aid to people living in the toughest places on earth. Our team spent the day packaging lentils, rice and school supplies to be shipped to the Middle East.?#monthofservice #Untononprofit

A core tenet of our corporate social responsibility efforts is advocating for STEM programs that foster the future of our industry. As part of our annual month of service, this year we're pleased to announce the TransCore Cares Committee has awarded a grant to York Country Day School, which boasts a rigorous robotics, engineering, and computer science curriculum, and hosts two FIRST TECH CHALLENGE robotics teams. We hope the grant will help the teams purchase the needed parts and tools to build this years' robots. Good luck, to The Hackin' Hounds and The GearHounds teams!

As part of our Month of Service, a group of 20 TransCore teammembers volunteered at Kids' Meals, Inc. to make lunches to feed 180 hungry children in the Houston area. More than 80,000 preschool-aged children in Harris County live with food insecurity. To help end childhood hunger, Kids' Meals delivers more than 9,000 free, healthy meals per day to some of Houston's hungriest children age 5 and younger. Our team was grateful to contribute to this mission and looks forward to partnering with them in the future! #feedourfuture

On November 13, we will be hosting an Open House to celebrate the reopening of our fully redesigned tolling and traffic operations hub in Houston, TX! Over our 20+ years in Houston, our team has expanded to 800+ local staff members who provide dedicated local project support, as well as operational support for TransCore projects nationwide. We're excited to show you how the new 56,000-sq ft facility is designed to help our team deliver enhanced tolling and traffic operations. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, throughout October TransCore staff around the world wore pink to drive awareness and show support for all those affected by the disease.

On the heels of another great IBTTA Annual event, we wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pat Jones for his decades of exceptional leadership, dedication to the industry, hard work, and most importantly, his friendship. While this was Pat's final annual meeting as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of IBTTA, his legacy will certainly live on. Thanks for everything, Pat! Enjoy your well-deserved retirement. We'll see you down the road.
