?We are celebrating 41 years of Traffic Planning and Design (TPD)! ? In 1983, Turgut Dervish embarked on a journey to create a boutique transportation, engineering and planning consultancy firm. From humble beginnings at his home office, Turgut built TPD to provide clients with expert services while upholding the highest standards of quality. ? For 41 years, Turgut has been at the helm, guiding TPD with a steady hand and a relentless commitment to excellence. His fingerprints are on thousands of projects that have shaped our region's infrastructure, making it safer, more efficient, and more accessible to all. ? Turgut's legacy extends far beyond the projects themselves. For over four decades, Turgut has mentored countless people and he is very proud of those who have moved on to find success as professors, municipal leaders, and entrepreneurs. He is proud of those who have become executives at large firms or principal of their own firm, each one building their own legacy on the foundation and principles they learned at TPD.? ? Today, Turgut still comes into the office to oversee operations, monitor project quality, and impart wisdom to the next generation of transportation engineers. We are grateful for his vision, guidance, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
