Last week, our team participated in the FLAR | Fondo Latinoamericano de Reservas XXXVIII Central Bank Conference in Cartagena. After Germany’s higher-than-expected October inflation report last week, it appears the UK is following suit today. Inflation in the UK accelerated sharply to a six-month high of 2.3% in October from 1.7% the month prior, and above market expectations of 2.2%.
