We, as TRACE consortium lead partner (CNR ISPC Naples), are delighted to announce the coming TRACE policy meeting, foreseen in Matera (Italy) the 20th of November 2024. It will be a great opportunity for the tourist SMEs involved in the project implementation coming from Italy, Belgium, Spain, Romania and Cyprus, to learn more about green certications, in terms of benefits and improvement of their services to become more circular and sustainable. As well we will welcome exchanges of views among qualified speakers representing EU Institutions such as DGENV-European Commission - and other organisations at national, regional and local level (public and private) and we will listen from enthusiast and passionate witnesses, their succesfull experiences about circular tourism. We are looking forward to hosting soon in Matera all interested participants! Yesterday in Larnaca, in the mood of HAPPINESS! A great success of the Trace EU project (SMEs transition to a European circular tourism ecosystem), seminar and study visit organized by Anitel, the partner from Cyprus, with high level of professionality. I am glad to share the MOTIVATION, COMPETENCE and PASSION with the team of the Trace transnational consortium from Italy (CNR ISPC - lead partner, Iniziativa Cube and APT Basilicata), Belgium (ICHEC), Romania (North East RDA) and Spain (Provincial government of Teruel), while we are implementing the project looking, beyond the EU co-financing period. MAIN ACHIEVEMENT: Listening to the qualified speeches, learning more about sustainable and circular tourism across Europe, interacting with the participants composed by tourist SMEs from Cyprus, Italy and Romania, and other local tourism stakeholders. FURTHER STEP: willing to increase knowledge, exchanges ìdeas and best practices, which is the best way to build trust and fruitful collaboration based on social cultural, environmental and economic values. COMMON GOAL: changing the mindset and committed to improve a responsible behaviour for all. HERE IS THE CHALLENGE for our SUSTAINABLE FUTURE!
