Lou Testa, Vice President at TRAC Intermodal, was the featured guest on last week’s episode of the LEAEP (Leadership Enabled Arbitration and Enrichment Platform) podcast, hosted by Sean Hurley-Del Vecchio, Contracting Enablement Manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Lou shared his career background and how he entered the intermodal sector and built a specialty in logistics at steamship line U.S. Lines. He has held senior leadership roles at Hamburg Sud, Triton Container and Crowley American Transport before assuming his current role as VP of Field Operations at TRAC. The conversation covered a wide range of areas including Lou’s leadership principles, today’s hybrid work approach, the evolving ownership landscape in transportation, his greatest challenges, and the role of AI in TRAC’s operations. Lou also offered some helpful guidance to students and those just entering the logistics space on finding their passion and then their career fit. A true gentleman who has dedicated his life to the transportation industry, Lou has not only been a pillar of reliability but a beacon of integrity and kindness. His decades of experience reflect a deep commitment to both his craft and the people he serves.
