  • ??Exploring Breakthroughs in Food Allergy Diagnostics with Machine Learning ?? What's Inside Dive into this groundbreaking research detailing the development of a machine learning algorithm designed to predict anaphylaxis risk with over 95% accuracy! Using data from the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP), this model analyzes 241 allergy markers to provide patient-specific assessments, offering unprecedented precision for peanut allergy risk prediction. ?? Why It Matters Traditional diagnostic methods often lack accuracy, leaving patients vulnerable and treatment plans uncertain. This innovative approach leverages big data and advanced machine learning to transform how we evaluate and manage food allergies, making accurate, affordable diagnostics accessible to more families. ? Implications for the Food Allergy Community This work offers hope to millions managing life-threatening allergies. Beyond diagnostics, the potential for personalized treatment plans means improved safety, better outcomes, and a step closer to #FoodFreedom for patients everywhere. ?? • Meet Isaac L., a young leader with an inspiring story! Isaac, a talented baseball pitcher (he struck out four players in a row ??), refuses to let his food allergies define him. For his bar mitzvah project, he raised $5750 to help another child begin their Journey to Food Freedom through the Food Allergy Institute. Isaac’s compassion and generosity remind us of the power of community and the hope we share for a brighter future. This Giving Tuesday, join Isaac in making a difference. Join our Food Freedom Challenge and help us match Isaac’s donation! Donate here: https://tpirc.org/

  • Isaac Lipton is 12 years old and already making an incredible impact. For his bar mitzvah project,? he’s raising funds to help another child start their journey to Food Freedom. This Giving Tuesday, we’re inspired by Isaac’s generosity and asking our community to match his donation. Let’s raise the bar together and make this life-changing program accessible to more families. ??Donate here: www.tpirc.org ?Please take a moment to read his story below: My name is Isaac Lipton. I'm 12 years old, and I have life-threatening tree nut allergies, including walnuts, cashews, pistachios, pecan, Brazil nuts, and hazelnuts. I also have a sensitivity to shellfish. I am trying to help another child participate in the Food Allergy Institute's Journey to Food Freedom, as I am fortunate to be able to. I discovered my allergies at 18 months and when my friends go out for food and ice cream, I am very limited in what I can have and sometimes feel left out. I am extremely fortunate to have found the Food Allergy Institute. Using individualized treatment plans and biosimilar food proteins, FAI helps me build tolerance before introducing anaphylactic allergens. That means I have to eat certain foods every day to prepare my body for when I introduce my anaphylactic allergens - it's a lot of work, but worth it! I also get to travel to California every 3 months which is expensive, but I would also say fun. I have passed hazelnut, mollusks, and lobster already and am partway through pistachio and pecan(passed cross-contamination). I have about a year left. Once I go through the program successfully, I can achieve Food Freedom and eat anything I want, including the nuts I am allergic to!! Wow - I can't wait!!! This has been a life-changing experience for me and I cannot be more grateful for the program. For my bar mitzvah project, I would like to raise money to help people who are less fortunate than me start the program and get the same opportunities as me. #GivingTuesday #Philanthropy #FoodAllergyAwareness #FoodFreedom #FoodAllergyInstitute #TPIRC

  • Philanthropy is at the core of our organizations. I started TPIRC over a decade ago as a non-profit. The early days of philanthropy involved a small team supporting a small organization. So many years later, our mission is consistent and core trust in philanthropy remains. Today, I want to recognize our small but mighty philanthropy team. They work so hard each day shining a bright light on FAI and TPIRC. They interact and travel across the country to build interest and drive donations to support the many programs which support so many patients. I hope you will join me in recognizing our great philanthropy team today. Thank you Aissatou and Maya! - Dr Randhawa- CEO Food Allergy Institute, TPRIC #TPIRC #foodallergyinstitute #rarediseases #research
