关于我们
Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA) has provided clients with independent, transparent science since 1995. TERA solves human health risk challenges for diverse government and private sponsors through collaboration that emphasizes partnership building across scientific expertise and multiple perspectives to ensure the use of the best science. These strengths are the basis for TERA’s development of independent and science-driven analyses for risk assessment. A world leader in independent scientific peer review, TERA provides in-person panel meetings, letter reviews, webcasts and webinars, in-house technical reviews, and workshops. Information about TERA and on many of TERA’s projects is available on our website: https://www.tera.org.

One of our senior #toxicologists, Dr. Michael Dourson will be giving the keynote talk at the Battelle conference entitled "#PFAS Readiness: Leadership Exchange on Solutions” in San Antonio, Texas. His talk is entitled: “PFAS Risk Assessments: Time for an International Collaboration.” A screenshot of his talk is attached. If you are interested in the full talk, or having any one of our toxicologists speak at your facility or to your group, please send us a message or email Bethany Hansen at [email protected].

Check out these pictures from the Dose-Response Assessment Boot Camp that was held in India! We had a great time. We are always happy to share our knowledge of toxicological risk assessment. In you are in need of risk assessment training, please let us know if we can plan a Dose-Response Assessment Boot Camp at your facility! https://lnkd.in/gFD9Z5-X
5-Day Intensive Hands-on Boot Camp on Dose-Response Risk Assessment? We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a 5-day hands-on boot camp on Dose-Response Risk Assessment, from 22-26 October 2024,??organized by Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh in collaboration with Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA), USA, as part of the 15th Global Week 2024. This boot camp was expertly led by renowned trainers Michael Dourson, Ph.D., DABT, FATS, FSRA Bernard Gadagbui, M.Sc., Ph.D., UKRT, DABT and Dr. Debabrata Kanungo, Former Additional Director General, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India.? Participants from leading industry names such as Kenvue,?Mumbai, Cipla Mumbai, Bioscience Research Foundation - BRF Chennai, BIONEEDS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Banglore and researchers from CSIR IITR Lucknow, gained invaluable insights into risk assessment. From foundational concepts to advanced techniques, attendees were equipped with the tools to apply risk assessment with 0 to 99% confidence in real-world scenarios. A huge thank you to all the participants, trainers, and organizers who made this boot camp a tremendous success. #Chitkarauniversity #Chitkarau #RiskAssessment #GlobalWeek2024 #TERA #IndustryCollaboration

Tera is conducting a #DoseResponse Assessment Boot Camp in #toxicology to an agro-chemical company in Udaipur, India. We will also be conducting a Boot Camp during the 15th Global Week at Chitkara University in India. However, you don't have to be across the world in order for us to conduct a boot camp, we can come directly to you! Please comment below or message us if interested. (Below is a pic from our Boot Camp 2 years ago in India.) Keep posted for more pictures to follow throughout our week there.

Below are some pictures of the graduates from our Dose-Response Assessment Boot Camp. All of our graduates were able to level up their skills in the areas of #hazardcharacterization and #doseresponse assessment for human health #riskassessments. Thank you to everyone who attended! ?? ?? ??

If you have the chance, please take the time to read our response to the recent article from The Guardian. It's clear that this reporter, Tom Perkins, made several insinuations which led to an extremely biased narrative of a very complicated topic-PFAS chemicals. Please like and share if you agree that readers and regulators alike should consider the full body of scientific research and engage in open, fact-based discussions, rather than precautionary principles that lack empirical support.
