Today, we are grateful for the collective support of our TowneBank family and their generosity in the face of the absolute devastation caused by #HurricaneHelene. In particular, we want to shine a light on two of our incredible Loan Officers, Tracy Hayes and Sherry Connor, who are leading the charge with their dedication and compassion. Last week, Florida-based Tracy teamed up with a retired pilot to fly 800 lbs. of crucial supplies like diapers, formula, and cleanup tools to Ashe County, NC. Meanwhile, Charlotte-based Sherry has been tirelessly driving generators, fuel, food, and water directly to families in need in the Asheville area, encouraging them to share with their neighbors. Yesterday, the pair joined their efforts. Tracy offered to fly the exact supplies Sherry needed to the affected area, and Sherry is distributing them to families in the mountains of North Carolina. We want to give a special thanks to our TowneBank family, who immediately stepped up to donate funds or share Tracy and Sherry’s stories via social media or with family and friends. Their efforts are a testament to the deep-rooted culture of caring that runs through the Towne Family of Companies. We invite you to join us in showing our Asheville neighbors that they're not alone.
