We had our first snow in Town of Zionsville today and had a great meeting with our Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council! High school students from across Zionsville serve on the MYAC and have the opportunity to learn about municipal government. This family-friendly event begins at 5:00 PM on November 30th, with participants gathering at 4:00 PM at Eagle Elementary. The parade will conclude at Old National Bank around 6:00 PM, followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the corner of Pine and Main Streets. Volunteer Opportunities Include: Block Captains to help manage specific parade sections Line-Up Helpers to assist with parade participant organization End of Parade Volunteers to help with cleanup and coordination And more! They were present at the State of the Town this week and have been a key sounding board as we talk about the South Village project and the future of Zionsville.
