We are overwhelmed with the excitement for the Sarah Benson Park Masterplan. We accepted Qualifications over the past month from interested design, planning, and engineering firms. Staff is pleased to announce eight submittals for our Board and Commissions to review. Once these packages have been reviewed and ranked, the Town will announce the selected firm and begin the final planning for our updated inclusive playground at Sarah Benson Park. While we may still be 16-18 months from our GRAND OPENING, each of these steps are milestones for a successfully executed plan. Thank you to our Staff, Boards, Commissions, and the firms who submitted Qualifications for making the Town of Thompson’s Station a priority in parks and recreation.

The Town of Thompson's Station is updating our adoption of the International Code Council family of codes. To help ensure the health, life safety, and general well-being of our Town residents, we have adopted and will begin enforcing (January 1, 2025) the 2021 ICC Residential, Building, Fire, Plumbing, Mechanical, Property Maintenance, Swimming Pool and Spa, and Existing Building Codes, in addition to the 2018 NFPA 101 - Life Safety Code. Effective immediately, we have adopted and will begin enforcing the 2018 ICC Energy Conservation Code.
