Thanks to all who contributed to the construction and opening of the new roundabout at the intersection of Washington Street (Route 16) and Maple Street. This important intersection in Sherborn's village center also supports regional mobility with more than 25,000 vehicles traveling through our Town daily. The improvements address traffic and pedestrian safety concerns that have plagued this intersection in the past. The project was completed "on time" and "on budget" by the hard work and diligence of our great team. We also thank the Commonwealth for providing funding to pay 75% of the construction costs.
