Once again, the Town of Holly Springs Communications & Marketing team has taken home top honors in the nation! This year, the 3CMA - City-County Communications & Marketing Association awarded Holly Springs first place for the successful marketing of Holly Springs 311 and first place for the educational video about the 2023 parks bond referendum. Only 94 first place awards were presented in the country! Holly Springs also won second place in the Go Green Communications Program category with its Keeping it Green campaign about the switch to yard waste carts. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eSmQWC3C

Today, Town of Holly Springs Economic Development attended Raleigh Chamber’s Economic Development Annual Meeting. This meeting explored how economic development projects are transforming our region’s school system, infrastructure, and overall success. Executives from companies that have recently chosen Wake County, including Holly Springs’ very own FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, shared their insights on why they selected our market. Local and regional leaders then discussed the ripple effect of these project wins. The event highlighted the tremendous progress and exciting opportunities ahead for Wake County. Congratulations to Kendra Parrish, the Town's Executive Director of Utilities and Infrastructure, who received the Glass Ceiling Award at the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce 2024 Women's Empowerment Conference last week. Kendra has been dedicated to serving the Town of Holly Springs for 22 years, working on a variety of projects and with numerous partners at all levels of government. "Kendra Parrish is a trailblazer, a leader, and a role model," the Chamber said. "She has demonstrated that true leadership is about service, vision, and the courage to forge new paths."
