Towerscope Leadership Academy

职业培训和指导

A private learning community for women in STEM, tech, healthcare, and academia who want to elevate their impact.

关于我们

There is tremendous opportunity that comes with a leadership role. But it can also be accompanied by an unsettling mix of pressures from your own personal expectations, your team and organizational expectations, and a confusing mix of societal expectations of how women “should” be and act as leaders. How do you tease these apart so you can become the most authentic, effective, and impactful leader you can? Towerscope Leadership Academy (TLA) is a social impact-focused leadership development membership community providing mentorship, coaching, and consulting to leaders in healthcare, academia, and STEM. TLA is developed by @Towerscope, a woman-owned company, to support women-centered leaders in their leadership identity and impact journey. Through small peer groups, a tech-enabled platform, an expert-led research-based curriculum, live calls with a Board of Directors, networking, and opportunities to be matched to an accountability partner, we offer high value at an accessible price point.

  • Even their re-share of this upcoming topic is so "on brand"! Come join us this Thursday to hear thought leaders Catlin O'Shaughnessy Coffrin and Emily Crookston share their expertise on how and why we might benefit from "Upscaling Your LinkedIn Profile" - link to register is below.

Best-Selling Business Book Ghostwriter and Developmental Editor ?? | Owner of the Pocket PhD | Author of Unwritten: The Thought Leader’s Guide to Not Overthinking Your Business Book | Write a Book that Sells!

New Year, New LinkedIn Profile? ????? There’s nothing like a speaking opportunity to get me thinking about my LinkedIn presence. It’s time for a glow up and just in time for the panel discussion I’m doing THIS Thursday at 11am (ET). I’m sharing the stage with Catlin O'Shaughnessy Coffrin, who (if you don’t already know her, you should!) is a wealth of wisdom and insight. We’ll be talking about how to upscale your LinkedIn profile. Cat and I will answer questions like: ???Why do you need to focus on your LI presence, even if you’re not actively on the job market or dreaming of a promotion? ???How can you be open and authentic without being awkward or feeling like you’ve revealed too much? ???Should you even be posting your own thoughts and opinions if you work for a company? The conversation will be geared towards academics and non-profit leaders, as well as STEM and tech folks. But it’s open to ANYONE. This panel discussion is part of a series hosted by Dr. Mira Brancu through her Towerscope Leadership Academy (TLA). Here’s some info about that amazing program: TLA is an international leadership development community membership. As part of Towerscope's social impact division, TLA offers cost-conscious comprehensive leadership coaching, training, mentoring, and a safe, private online platform for women-identifying members. Community members typically come from disrupted learning and innovation industries (e.g., healthcare, academic, STEM, and tech) and identify as socially conscious, high-achieving, growth-oriented, and purpose-driven. As such, there's a strong contingency of introverted leaders, organizational misfits, marginalized leaders, and reluctant leaders among our members. Curious? Join us on Thursday to get a taste of how it works. #event #linkedin #personalbranding #personaldevelopment #towerscopeleadershipacademy

We are excited to introduce our virtual guest panel series, hosted by the Towerscope Leadership Academy ! Our first one is focused on overachievement, burnout, wellness, and resiliency. What is the connection between these? How can overachievers avoid the pitfalls associated with the pursuit of success and numerous interests? How can we find ways to set a sustainable pace, manage stress, and better track our burnout signals well before it leads to mental, physical, or emotional exhaustion (and even harm)? These are the discussions we'll be exploring with our guest panel! You will learn, gain insights, and also take away at least one digital tool to help you take another step forward with this topic. The three speakers will share their experiences for about 35 minutes and then participants will have an opportunity to ask the speakers questions during a Q&A portion. Sponsors: This event is co-sponsored by Towerscope (and the Towerscope Leadership Academy) and Inner Workout. About the Speakers: Megan Cooperman, M.Ed, MSP is the Employee Wellness Specialist at Montgomery College in Maryland. With 25-plus years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, Megan has worked as a mind-body instructor, fitness manager, and wellness director. She has two master's degrees - one in school counseling and the other in industrial organizational psychology, including ergonomics, stress management, and resiliency training. Taylor Elyse Morrison is a portfolio careerist asking the question: How can we experience well-being and fulfillment in every aspect of our lives? She’s the founder of the Inner Workout app, and the award-winning author of a book by the same name. Named one of Fortune’s 10 Innovators Shaping the Future of Health, Taylor is tired of aspirational 'wellness as usual.' Instead, she makes personal development more accessible. Taylor uses her coaching, mindfulness, and movement training to meet people where they are and get them closer to what they really want. Dr Jennie Byrne, MD, PhD is an advisor for healthcare innovators to help shape the future of healthcare. She is a Co-Founder of Belong Health, a made-for-purpose healthcare company that serves vulnerable populations through health plan partnerships and ACO-REACH. She has a dual background as an MD/PhD in neuroscience and a board-certified psychiatrist, an entrepreneur who previously founded, grew, and exited a clinical organization, and served in a C-suite executive at a national level. She is a speaker and the best-selling author of "Work Smart", a book on how to use brain and behavior science to work smarter. Her second book, "Moral Injury : Healing the Healers" focuses on the clinician crisis facing the American healthcare system today. Finally as a practicing psychiatrist she focuses on caring for other physicians with mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and moral injury. #GratitudePost I am nearing completion of Towerscope Leadership Academy's FUEL program to further my professional development as a leader. In addition to the didactic content, learning assignments, office hours, and built-in accountability (shout out to Micah Taylor, M.S. ??), TLA also provides additional workshops and learning opportunities. Most recently, I attended the “7 C’s of Personal Branding” workshop led by Brooke Huckabee. This workshop drove home the importance of being wholly and fully authentic in all the spaces. Thank you to all the wonderful, generous, and gracious leaders I've met through this community, especially Dr. Mira Brancu for putting it all together.
