关于我们
Tourism Currents? offers online and in-person workshops, training, and consulting in social media and digital marketing for tourism, hospitality / hotel marketing, and economic development. Launched in September 2009, the team is led by Sheila Scarborough. We speak, do workshops and consulting, and run a self-paced online course that includes seven multi-part lessons and a private Facebook Group. Our team does a lot of work with small towns and rural areas in particular, helping them with tourism development, promotion, and marketing.

We’re so excited, and we just can’t hide it! We officially launched Sweet Hometown Tours: Alabama’s Main Street Trail, and there’s nothing but forward motion from here!! A statewide trail system showcasing the Main Street experience in the state’s 33 designated communities, Sweet Hometown Tours acts as a roadmap to help residents and visitors best explore the state’s amazing downtown districts—and at the perfect time, too! 2025 will be the Alabama Tourism Department’s The Year of Alabama Trails, and as we anticipate a busy year of fun and exploration, we’ll share plenty of ways you can make the most of this exciting trail. https://ow.ly/hXiU50U0ALN
