    The cost of evaluating software is not talked about enough. I spoke to someone recently who had 10 intro demos scheduled this week. That's 5 hours of intro conversations.....almost a full day of work. Let's be real, all the conversations will blend together and unless your taking detailed notes you won't remember the specifics of each vendor. If you have the time, great! lol It's definitely not the approach we see most buyers taking these days. Most buyers don't have time to talk to that many sales reps or want to. Most buyers are making a short-lists before having any intro calls. If I were in a GTM position (I am) I would be thinking of the different ways we can make Buyer's short-lists. One way is providing interactive experiences at the top of funnel for prospects to quickly understand why you exist, what the product can do, and why they should care.     STOP making your sales team waste time on crappy leads. I hear this all to often “we want to send sales better qualified leads” If that’s you, great your mind is in the right place. Here’s what you do: - add self-guided product tours to your website - let prospects see the product via the product tours BEFORE talking to sales. - prospects that engage with tours THEN book time to talk to sales are way more qualified leads than someone who converted from a “we streaminline efficiency by 10x” message BONUS if you really want to WOW your sales team: before the live call send all the website tour engagement data to the seller taking the call so they can see which parts of the platform the buyer is interested in. — This video was not marketing approved.     We've found that when we can get a customer to actually SEE our platform, we win nearly 50% of those deals. We can't do PLG. We can't offer free trials. We sell enterprise software that requires implementation and onboarding unique to each customer. We needed to provide prospects easier access to our platform without getting on a demo first. So how did we solve it? Jason Graub and the Tourial team stepped up and helped us develop our interactive demo strategy and deploy our demo center. What they realized is that there is a gap in supporting the actual strategy + execution of an effective interactive demo strategy. So much so, that they officially announced their new Demo Studio team and services last week, and we benefited from leveraging this before they officially launched it. If you want to launch interactive demos but need a strategic partner, I'd suggest you give them a shout.
