?The Apollo Career Center's opening night for their new Public Safety Training Center was a huge success! The 28,000 sq. ft. building will house Fire/EMS, Police Academy/Criminal Justice, and Truck Driving programs. Special thanks to the Culinary Program for their amazing contribution! Superintendents (Masonry, Cement Mason, Carpentry, Ironworkers) - The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, from project planning to completion. The Construction Superintendent creates all work schedules, coordinates construction activities and contractors as well as conducting quality control. ? ?? Project Engineers - The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also providing technical expertise and support. ? ?? Project Managers - The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing, estimating and analyzing the costs of various construction projects. The Construction Estimator is responsible for the entire estimate and tendering process, creating Requests for Quotation, budgeting, take-offs, contacting sub-trades, reviewing and understanding construction documents, thorough understanding of tender documents and all other relevant work pertaining to estimating. ? ?? Estimators - Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through the assistance of team members. ?
