Touchmark communities are amazing places because of the wonderful people who live and work within them. Here is another story in our series highlighting the longevity of Touchmark team members. Maria Manimbo is a Housekeeper at Touchmark at Wedgewood in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is bubbly, jolly, and full of energy. She walks fast, works hard, and loves to talk. You'll often find her singing, dancing, and telling jokes. Maria said she loves that "team members are treated as equals, no matter their role." She values the relationships she's developed with both team members and residents over the years. She even hopes to work another two decades before retiring! When asked what advice she'd give a new team member, she said, "Be open with each other. Enjoy your coworkers and build strong relationships with them." Thank you, Maria, for being an ally, friend, and giver!

Our Charley’s dining venue is hitting its groove with new menus released frequently and well-attended social events; sidewalks and landscaping are coming together; folks are coming for hard-hat tours of the new homes that will be available shortly. We also completed our new theater, so residents can enjoy their movie experience on the big screen while the weather is chilly outside.
