Totelcom CEO, Jennifer L. Prather, CPA, was named President for TTA at the recent annual TXConnect Membership Summit in Austin, TX. Jennifer currently had served as a board member since 2018 and the Association’s Vice President for the last two years. TTA founded in 1905, is the trade association that represents the incumbent local communication companies of Texas. The mission of the TTA is to promote and enhance the performance of each member company and protect the integrity of the industry and the services offered within each company’s certificated exchange areas within the State of Texas. “I am honored to represent the rural Texas telecom community in this role” said Ms. Prather. “Our member companies have a long history of serving the most hard to reach places in the state with quality communications services, giving ongoing commitment to our communities, and providing good jobs to our residents. We are working hard to deliver state of the art broadband service to those same places today with a continued commitment to the community members. I look forward to working with leaders from across the state to advance our future-ready networks as far as they can go.”

Totelcom - Continuing to make Connections that Matter in our local community! ?? Every month, Totelcom employees, Cindy Beaty, Kelcie Black and Andrew McCain along with our friends at Comanche County Medical Center volunteer to help with the De Leon food distribution through FOOD BANK OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS ???? According to the Food Bank, and using the four pantries in Comanche County, approximately 470 - 500 families are served monthly countywide. ????

So proud of Jennifer and all her hard work!
NTCA members are united in their efforts to achieve and sustain universal service. Over the next several weeks, the association will showcase videos from members across the country talking about why the federal Universal Service Fund (USF) and better broadband maps are important to ensuring rural communities and consumers can continue to thrive. This week, Jennifer L. Prather, CPA, CEO of Totelcom Communications, LLC (De Leon, Texas), talked about what universal service means to her company and community. #BroadbandBuiltToLast More: https://lnkd.in/eyjkxmmu

Our very own, Jennifer L. Prather, CPA, CEO of Totelcom, is on the cover of the March/April 2024 ISE Magazine! ISE educates the ICT (Information and communication technology) industry about wireline and wireless infrastructure trends from the Cloud to the end-user. Jennifer has a powerful voice and message in the Rural Broadband industry and is paving the way for future female leaders in the industry. Connections That Matter! A favorite quote from her presentation was, "There is nothing better than seeing our service impact the lives of our friends and neighbors. At Totelcom, we don’t have shareholders or equity partners who dictate what we do—we have community members we see at the grocery store and school events." ????You can read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gsXZy8mn
