Renewable hydrogen: a strategic step forward at La Mède. ?? As part of its ambition to decarbonize the hydrogen used by its European #refineries operations by 2030, TotalEnergies has joined forces with?Air Liquide?to produce renewable #hydrogen at?La Mède?in southeast France. This project will permit: ? The reduction of our CO? emissions by 15,000 tonnes per year. ? The production of hydrogen at La Mède with an annual capacity of 25,000 tonnes, recycling co-products from the biorefinery. ?Supporting the production of biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (#SAF), reducing CO2 emissions by 130,000 tonnes a year. ?? A year after the joint call at COP28 from ADNOC Group, aramco & TotalEnergies, we are now 54 Oil & Gas companies (representing almost 45% of global oil production!) from around the world that have signed up to the Oil & Gas Decarbonization Charter’s ambitions. ?? The OGDC publishes its first report to baseline, prioritize and track progress on emissions reductions. These ambitions include to work toward: ?? Net-zero operations by 2050 ??
