Happy Feel-Good Friday! Take a moment to read Shelly Andrus's heartfelt reflection on her journey with TOTAL. ???? "I have been waiting to say something until I finished training at my new job. Several years ago I came to Total as an OTR Trainer. I had no idea how important it would be to my career and my life at the time. After I left Total something very amazing happened. The fellow drivers and staff continued to be there for me. I know a lot of companies use the word "family" and honestly, they don't mean it. You see the connections I made at Total.... those people became my chosen family. Everything from guiding me in my career, coming to, and helping with my wedding to just keeping me awake while driving. I appreciate each and every one of y'all. My family from Total has turned out to be the best support system ever. Recently I finally got a tanker job hauling fuel. If it were not for my family from Total I would never have finally been able to land this job and complete training. Stormie Janzen, you have truly been there guiding me through my career. Buffy Ann Roberts, Bruce Beck, James Peck... y'all continue to encourage me no matter how dark and hopeless I feel. Barbara Parta Ottesen, had it not been for you believing in me and helping me land that interview I may have never gotten the chance to see if this was for me. There are several others... too many to list that I appreciate everything y'all do for me. For all the new drivers on this page that feel like no one cares, please know they care. You need to roll with the punches most of the time. Trust me though, if you stick with it and make connections with your fellow drivers you will find lifelong friends... you will find out what a trucking family is. " #TOTALFamily #TOTALDifference
