#TIPSTUESDAY Project Update | The Wilson Electronics - APAC in St. George, Utah is progressing very well. A beautiful building - and not just on the inside of the concrete walls (TIPS sustainable composite panel system...). The inviting industrial design created by Beecher Walker Architecture with wall panel structural engineering from Eclipse Engineering (now a Cushing Terrell company) and constructed by Grass Creek Construction along with the team at Innovative Concrete, LLC is a compliment to sustainable design. The tilt-up concrete walls incorporated into this project reduced embodied carbon by nearly 230,000 lbs. As well, the building benefits from our integrated EPS core offering an R16 insulation value that enables increased operational carbon offset. #TIPSTUESDAY Good timing just ahead of Thanksgiving. A big shout out to Matt Heffington and team at KB Fabrication & Welding located in Meridian, Idaho. We needed a very quick turnaround on a weld repair on a piece of equipment at a project site. One text, one picture of the problem, one phone call and within just a couple of hours - job done, and done very well ! This is a business with people that when you shake their hand (even over the phone) you know you can count on that - always! Knowledge, product and process can be amazing, and with the right people - you'll have a great experience ! Thank you Matt Heffington and team ! You guys are awesome !

A different product and process - a positive change for insulated concrete wall panels (among other productive applications). With that change, TIPS offers progress under the umbrella of measurable material reductions leading to cost efficiencies and improved embodied sustainability value as well as enhanced operational value by providing an increased insulation factor. Projects just in the state of Idaho in 2024 that have utilized our system provide a combined embodied carbon offset of approximately 1.25M lbs. across nearly 178,000 sqf. of TIPS wall panel. Happy Friday Another amazing building designed with our integrated - 100% composite panel system. James M. Williams and his team at AE Urbia provided both the architectural and structural magic for this beautiful commercial building located in American Fork, Utah. Brix Construction (part of the Unified Business Alliance family) lead the project as the General Contractor with the awesome concrete construction team at Axiom Constructors ! Cost effective and sustainability attributes for this building utilizing TIPS as compared to traditional sandwich panel wall design provide a savings of nearly 575 cubic yards of concrete and roughly 62,000 lbs. less rebar which contributes to a carbon offset of nearly 320,000 lbs. of CO2. That's a measurable and positive impact !

#TIPSTUESDAY A great kick-off to yet another awesome LM Construction Co, LLC building with our integrated panel system in Caldwell Idaho. Construction is being lead by Nathan Shute of the Andersen Construction team. Nate and crew define being prepared to take on a new product and process with TIPS. Attitude and approach always wins the game ! With this project, LM Construction Co, LLC has integrated over ONE MILLION sqf. of our 100% composite panel system across 14 projects in Nevada and Idaho. Utilization of TIPS on this project reduced concrete by nearly 52% and reduced reinforcement by roughly 67% - all contributing to a carbon savings of nearly 500,000 lbs. ! #TIPSTUESDAY Another great day in Boise Idaho with Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) and Modern Machinery Co., Inc.. Their new building with 39,200 sqf. of our TIPS panel system is moving forward efficiently under the leadership of Lyle Dawson, Matt Moore and crew! From a material advantage perspective utilization of TIPS 100% composite panel system reduced concrete by roughly 575 cubic yards with a rebar savings of nearly 90,000 lbs. From a sustainability perspective the material savings provided a carbon offset of approximately 336,579 lbs. of carbon, not to mention saving 16,000 gallons of water! With just under 46,000 sqf. of TIPS Panel this project experienced a reduction of approximately 88,000 lbs of rebar, 480 yards of concrete, and nearly 230,000 lbs of embodied carbon ! #WEDNESDAYTIPS Last week our team was in Las Vegas as XL CONCRETE MASONRY, LLC finished pouring the final panels on the last building of the Southern Gateway project.?The walls for these 3 buildings were designed by Barker Structural and totaled over 240,000 square feet.? We were also able to walk the Warm Springs development being completed by AMC Concrete.?The walls for these 6 buildings were designed by Wright Structural Engineers and total over 330,000 square feet.? We want to congratulate these amazing teams and celebrate all the hard work they have put in to make these projects successful!? The common thread between both of these projects is the driven and visionary team at LM Construction Co.?5 years ago we approached Larry Monkarsh with the idea of using TIPS in one of his tilt-up buildings.?Project Diablo was the end result of that conversation. Since that time, Larry and his team have used the TIPS system on 19 buildings in the Las Vegas market, totaling over 950,000 square feet of wall.?We estimate that through their efforts on these projects LM Construction Co. has saved over 11,000 cubic yards of concrete, 1,900,000 lbs of rebar, and over 330,000 gallons of water.?Their effort to think of the future and promote sustainability has reduced the carbon footprint on these buildings by nearly 7,400,000 lbs of carbon and created spaces with increased insulation values that will use less power and be more versatile for their occupants for years to come. A great morning in Boise, Idaho with Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI) on the new Modern Machinery Co., Inc. building. First pour day went fantastic thanks to Matt Moore and crew. His team is super committed to quality, safety and efficiency! Modern Machinery Co., Inc. sells and rents high-quality heavy equipment and provides exceptional product support to the construction, mining, and forestry industries. Originating in 1944 with a single location in Spokane, Washington. Today, Modern operates full service branches in Missoula, Billings, and Columbia Falls, Montana; Boise, Jerome, and Pocatello, Idaho; Kent, Spokane, and Rochester, Washington; and Portland and Eugene, Oregon. By utilizing the Total Integrated Panel Systems | T I P S across the approximate 39,200 sqf. of tilt-up wall panels, concrete was reduced by roughly 575 cubic yards, and nearly 90,000 lbs. of rebar was displaced all while improving overall insulation value compared to a traditionally designed tilt-up sandwich panel.
