#TIPSTUESDAY What's on the inside ? Things are moving forward on Pinto Lane in Caldwell, Idaho with the new awesome and amazing industrial space developed by LM Construction Co. with Andersen Construction taking the lead on construction. It's always a great event when the panels are vertical and the roof system is in place to hold the intricate puzzle together. Now we get to see what's on the inside of the facility while under construction before the interior is complete. We are always struct by the thousands and thousands of moving parts and pieces of a tilt-up building. And when we dive even deeper into what's on the inside of the concrete walls ? Total Integrated Panel Systems | T I P S. The quality of the ingredients are pivotal. LM Construction Co. is a true leader in utilizing our 100% composite panel system (over One Million sqf !). On the inside of the 9 1/4" thick walls (with only 5 1/4" of concrete) you will find a 4" EPS insulating core providing a very durable R-value of R-16 coupled with an integrated 2" x 2" 11 ga. galvanized wire mesh held in place by the structural magic of a continuous 9 ga. diagonal truss system. (super cool TIPS panel graphic included in this post - bonus!). Utilizing our system in this facility LM Construction Co. reduced concrete by nearly 52%, and reinforcement by roughly 67% - all contributing to a carbon savings of nearly 500,000 lbs. ! Those numbers are a standard experience with TIPS. Thank you for your trust, confidence, leadership, and your business Mr. Larry Monkarsh ! #tiltwithtips #LeasefromLarryMonkarsh
