Part 4 of TG+P's Unit Design Discourse series focused on Kitchens! Jonathan Johnson led the design discussion, with a brief history of kitchen design trends while Julian Goldman took the lead on technical issues with an eye towards accessibility standards. Thanks to Kristin Farr who coordinated the presentation and many throughout the firm contributed images and ideas. Next up is Part 5 - Bathroom Design!

“People come to Expo Park to go to a stadium or a?museum?or maybe to go swimming but we also want people to come to Expo Park because it’s a park.” Neal I. Payton, FAIA, FCNU in The Architect's Newspaper - "Putting the Park Back in Expo Park" https://lnkd.in/eNmA6PC7

With the Olympics due to arrive in LA in the summer of 2028, our Torti Gallas + Partners master plan for Exposition Park, in collaboration with MIG is getting some press, because a) it recently received some serious state funding for the most significant recomnended improvement, and b) it will be the site for track and field, and diving. #Olympics2028, #LA2028. Alissa Walker's article in The Architect's Newspaper is really informative (as usual) and gets at the issues.
