Tops Friendly Markets is excited to announce the promotion of Chuck Foster to store manager of our Camden, NY location. With a career beginning at 16 with P&C Foods in Oneida, NY, Chuck brings extensive experience to his new role. He holds an AAS in Business-Food Sales & Distribution from Alfred State College and has held various managerial positions at P&C, Tops, BJ's Wholesale Clubs, and Grand Union. Since April 2024, Chuck has served as an assistant store manager at several Tops locations, most recently in Chittenango, NY. Congratulations on your well deserved promotion, Chuck!

Tops was proud to once again support the Buffalo Variety Club Telethon. For over 25 years we have been stood behind their incredible mission to improve the lives of children in need. Through generosity and community spirit, Variety provides life-changing assistance, including medical care, mobility equipment, and educational opportunities. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and bring hope to children and families who need it most. This year the event raised $1,047,280! As Black History Month came to a close on Friday we began rewarding some of our recipients of the essay writing contest with their prizes. We had so many wonderful entries from students in grades 3-8 who were proud to share who inspires them. As a result of their prize winning entries, their school received $100 toward their Tops in Education program and the student received a $50 Tops gift card to use on whatever they liked. Congratulations to all of our participants! #blackhistorymonth

Tops associates were happy to help staff the phones for the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital Radiothon which took place Feb. 11 & 12. This year's event raised over $221,000 for the hospital. Tops was also the Hospitality Sponsor, so in addition to feeding all the volunteers, donated $2,500 to the cause.
