Saturday mornings are one of my favorite times of the week. While I'm watching College Gameday on Saturdays in the fall, I start to get a flood of weekly update emails from the companies that Topo Advisors works with. These regular updates are a great way for CEOs to engage investors and advisors and enable them to help push the company forward through introductions or feedback. A few key takeaways from the thousands of investor updates I've read over time: 1?? Stay Concise - The readers of these updates see several a week, so focus on the key topics and updates. 2?? Make your asks visible - Investors and advisors can help move the needle for companies through asks in these updates, but make the asks visible and keep them at the top of the update. 3?? Be Consistent - It’s tough for someone outside the business to understand the full context if they only get an update once a month or quarter.
