  • So you’ve been told that they need to get three other estimates??? Truth - Very few of the prospects that tell you that will even get one more bid.?? They simply want you out of the house for several reasons: - You didn’t show them how they could afford it, so they see it as something that isn’t currently possible.? - They’re nervous that you will pressure them into making a decision on the spot.? - They need a few minutes to talk it over with their spouse.? - They may actually want to check with a few others because they haven’t yet bought into what you are telling them.? You will get “we need three estimates” at the beginning of the appointment and/or after you give price.? When you get it at the beginning of the appointment, they are telling you that they are BUYERS and are scared you may ask for the order at the end of the appointment. So they use it as a defense mechanism.? Ask them, when they get all their estimates and lay them on the table, how will they decide which contractor to go with? Yes, they may say PRICE, which you will throw back at them, asking if that is the only deciding factor. So the quality means nothing? So it’s VALUE???
