We had so much fun today at our Toolbox Woodlands lunch with Ben Clark, better known as “Banjo.” Here with Tom Douthit, our Executive Director, who surprised us with yet another great talent. During his 20 years in Nashville, Ben toured with many top country acts such as Taylor Swift. He has appeared on most every major awards & entertainment show, including the GRAMMY, Saturday Night Live, & the Grand Ole Opry. Ben's instructional website, BanjoBenClark.com, is a music-learning resource for thousands of students in over 50 countries. Thanks Banjo for sharing your story with us!

Thanks to Stewart Cink for taking the time to join us at our Toolbox Galleria lunch last Tuesday! We were captivated by the analogy that Stewart used to describe the struggle of equating our performance with our identity - confusing what we do (and how well we do it) with who we are (and what we are worth). He likened it to hitting a golf ball straight into a headwind. If you don't factor in the wind, it will surely veer the ball off course... to an undesirable location. If we, as men, don't battle our internal current (of equating performance with identity), that current will sweep us away as well. A very powerful image indeed.
