Have you noticed missing reviews this week? Many of our clients have seen drops as significantly as 15-20% over the past few days! Thankfully, Google has confirmed that the declining review counts are a miscounting issue and will be resolved soon. ? ?? Nothing is being removed—if you manually count your reviews, you'll find that they're all still there and can be read. Google should fix this soon! ?? A Google Employee, Victoria Kroll, stated on the Google Business Forums: ?? “We’re aware of an issue affecting some Google Business Profiles, causing some profiles to show lower-than-actual review counts due to a display issue. The reviews themselves have not actually been removed. We’re working hard to resolve this and restore accurate review counts as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will share updates on this thread as they become available.” So no need to worry! Your review count will be back to normal soon. In the meantime, keep building new reviews to outpace your competition! ?
