Another Successful Installation of the HYDRA Water Filtration System! We appreciate the opportunity to help another farmer with a successful installation of the HYDRA water filtration system. This arrangement is designed to draw directly from a 2-inch well, ensuring clean, high-quality water. Clean Water Protection Before installation, water tests revealed high levels of coliform bacteria and low counts of E. coli. Many farmers resort to shocking their wells with chlorine or other disinfectants to combat these issues. Aragonite Calcium Enhancement The HYDRA water filtration system addresses pollutants with a multi-stage process. Water first passes through a 2-inch CLEARLINE spin-down filter equipped with an automatic purge, followed by a fine 5-micron filtration. It then enters the CA2 REACTOR, where calcium carbonate is transformed into aragonite. This crystalline form of calcium does not adhere to surfaces, ensuring that it will not cause scaling inside equipment. Aragonite also offers an added benefit by making calcium bioavailable, improving uptake in birds. Optimized Water Filtration After the CA2 REACTOR, the water flows into the HYDRA ultraviolet reactor vessel. The conversion of calcium carbonate into aragonite prevents the buildup of scale around the UV light source, ensuring the CA2 REACTOR operates at peak efficiency for reliable water disinfection. The HYDRA advanced filtration process offers more than just clean water. By preventing calcium deposits, cool cells remain free from clogging, allowing them to function as intended. Properly functioning cool cells reduce both house temperature and humidity, improving fan performance and creating a better environment for the flock. President Donald Trump's new administration has prioritized soil rejuvenation as a key initiative. One underutilized resource is saturated poultry litter, which is routinely used as a soil amendment for crops. Unfortunately, when it rains, nutrients in the litter can leach into waterways.
