In September 2021, B.R. Funsten and Tom Duffy Company announced a branding consolidation and unveiled a distinctive new logo and corporate identity. Moving forward under the moniker of Tom Duffy Company, the wholesale flooring distributor has combined decades of experience, technical expertise, and an impressive portfolio of supplier partners from two entities into one. Company President Anne Funsten proudly carries on her family legacy while leading the Tom Duffy Company – identified in the updated logo as, “a B.R. Funsten Company.” Founded in 1957 by her grandfather, the eponymous Benjamin Reed Funsten, and later run for many years by her father, Jim Funsten, the B.R. Funsten Company became one of the top flooring distributors in the Western United States. In the mid 1990’s, it acquired the Tom Duffy company further expanding its product offering to over 10,000 flooring items. Today, the Tom Duffy Company is one of the top wholesale flooring product distributors in the country with 29 branch locations that provide convenient access points for customer pick-up or local market deliveries throughout Arizona, California and Nevada. This branch network is supported by over 450,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space filled with a vast product offering of tools and supplies for demo, prep, installation, repair, sound control, waterproofing and dust containment in addition to a variety of high-quality flooring options including waterproof flooring, prefinished hardwood, unfinished hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, VCT, laminate, rubber, vinyl and more. Tom Duffy Company carries a wide range of system components essential for any flooring project from slab to surface, from start to finish. The company also takes pride in providing exceptional service in the areas of credit, order fulfillment, inventory management and delivery.
