At TPS we have some wonderful people on staff that were also students at our schools and we are proud to share a bit about their #TPSProud stories. Kelly - Elmhurst, Roy C. Start High School My #TPSProud: When I did a book club after school when I taught at Raymer, and I had the Food Editor from the Toledo Blade come in. She talked about pies because we were reading about pies. Kids were writing the ideal pie recipe and the recipes got published in the Blade.

At TPS we have some wonderful people on staff that were also students at our schools and we are proud to share a bit about their #TPSProud stories. Kimberly - Macomber/Whitney 1985 My #TPSProud moment was when I got hired into TPS right before I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in 1998. I've loved being a teacher for my career and will continue to encourage and teach the students. This is my dream job. There's been ups and downs, but that's a part of life.

At TPS we have some wonderful people on staff that were also students at our schools and we are proud to share a bit about their #TPSProud stories. Shannon - Keyser Elementary, McTigue Jr. High, and Rogers High School Class of 1996 My #TPSProud moments began with my mother, Linda Tisdale, who was a dedicated teacher at Robinson Jr. High and East Toledo Jr. High. Growing up in Toledo Public Schools, I was fortunate to be surrounded by amazing mentors and educators—many of whom still impact my life today. My sister, Stephanie Teamer graduated from Rogers High School in 1993. While in high school she was the Senior Class President, voice of Rogers (did the morning announcements), and her Jr. year Prom Princess, and Sr. year Prom Queen. She is currently one of the School Counselors and still the voice of Rogers High School.
