Toledo Community Land Trust

Toledo Community Land Trust (TCLT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to stewarding land to create long-term affordable housing solutions for low to moderate-income individuals and families. Utilizing the Community Land Trust model, TCLT aims to retain and recycle initial public subsidies and private investment to ensure sustainable, equitable, and perpetual access to housing. In addition to our housing initiatives, TCLT promotes democratic community development, free association, mutual aid, self-determination, economic democracy, environmental conservation, self-governance, and food sovereignty. In addition to housing and in close collaboration with partner organizations, TCLT aims to develop community-controlled assets such as native mini food forests, renewable energy projects, and third spaces. TCLT remains flexible to adapt our strategies to the evolving needs of our community.
