What an incredible day of celebration! 🎉 Today, we marked our 10th anniversary in style, in partnership with the North Little Rock Electric Department, at the Flip the Switch event for our 5 MW solar array. 🌞 We kicked off the day by welcoming North Little Rock Academy - Home of the Eagles students to our office, where we shared insights about solar energy and the exciting career opportunities in the field. Today, we proudly celebrated the flip-the-switch ceremony for Veolia North America’s 5MW solar array. This milestone not only celebrates the solar array, but was in conjunction with VNA’s broader sustainability initiative to plant 110,000 trees. Last week, our members took part in the annual Accessing Careers in Energy Summit (ACES), hosted in partnership with Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), Southwest Power Pool, Entergy, ERCOT and PJM Interconnection. AABE Arkansas also held a career panel ahead of Black Energy Awareness Month, where industry leaders shared valuable insights on navigating corporate America and the benefits of working in energy.
