Hi everyone - reminder our first April meeting is this week ?? Lightly Toasted has a few exciting events in the works and plan on releasing solidified details early next month! Stay tuned for additional updates on the following: - Officer Elections and Inductions: This is a great way to get involved in our local chapter. We have a variety of roles from Treasurer, VP of Education and President open to those interested! No experience required - tentative elections will be held late May. - Open House: Interested to hear more about Toastmaster Global Toastmasters International? Visit Lightly Toasted's open house in June to hear from a dynamic speaker and connect with current and prospective members and their experiences. - Mentorship Program: As a reminder Lightly Toasted recently reinstated our mentorship program, where newer members or those looking to advance a particular interest are paired with a more experienced Toastmaster member to assist you in achieving your goals. - Pathways Program: Lastly, any member has the opportunity to select a Pathway specifically tied to one's public speaking objectives - this can be improving the use of visual aids, pace and tone or learning ways to add humor and personality to your speeches. If you have any questions on the above or would like to learn about a specific position from the current officer, please do not hesitate to reach out. ??

Enjoyed having Lightly Toasted members and guests attend our 'Chocolate Themed' meeting this afternoon. Kathleen Dyke thank you for sharing with the group! We enjoyed having variety within the club's speeches from Katharina S. VTS tech software to Frank's speech '10-Years Later'.
