And we nonprofits are feeling it! I write and apply for a lot grants for MOSD and I’ve gotten rejection, rejection, rejection. Is it my main specialty, no. Do I know how to write effectively, YES! Have I been successful in the past doing it, YES!
It is the entire grant funding process, it’s broken and needs restructuring. Places like Candid along with the support from our state Tennessee Nonprofit Network want to revolutionize the way grant funding is provided. I say it’s about dang time. I’m over all of this, our communities are hurting and there isn’t anyone coming to save us.
