Franklin, Lake and White Counties have been selected to participate in the latest round of Select Tennessee Property Evaluation Program (PEP). PEP evaluates potential industrial properties, advising counties on industrial site improvements and where investments may be most beneficial. Up to this point, the program has reviewed more than 450 sites. Read more:

O'Neal Manufacturing Services is locating its first Tennessee facility in Kingsport. The company, a subsidiary of O'Neal Industries, will invest $8.5 million and create 29 new jobs to support medium- to heavy-gauge steel fabrication including steel plate burning, machining, shot blasting and flattening.
