Taylor Swain joined TMX in 2023 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a double major in Marketing and Management. She’s passionate about the export industry and excited about the endless opportunities for learning and growth. One of the things Taylor enjoys most about her job is the constant learning and the chance to explore the intricacies of the export process. “There’s still so much I have to learn. The potential for growth in this industry is vast, and it’s exciting to be part of it.” she says. When she’s not working, Taylor enjoys spending time with her dog, Rosco, exploring the parks and lakes around Mooresville—reminding her of her hometown of Beaufort, NC. Taylor is also working on becoming bilingual to enhance communication and contribute even more to the team’s success. Today, we’re excited to highlight CJ Struyk, our dedicated Vice President at TMX, who has been an integral part of our team for the past 9 years! CJ holds a BS in Industrial Distribution and Logistics, with a Minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University. As Vice President, he leads with passion and perseverance, always driven by the challenges the logistics industry presents. When asked about what keeps him motivated, CJ shared: “I love the daily grind of logistics. Overcoming all the challenges and adversity that is constantly thrown our way is rewarding & motivating. I love the entire TMX team, and it's a pleasure to work with them each and every day. I love having the opportunity to work with my family and continuing the legacy we've worked so hard to establish and grow over the past 40 years.” Outside of work, CJ enjoys spending time with his wife Madison, daughter Sevey, and loved ones on the water, fishing, hunting, and attending sporting events. We are thrilled to spotlight Avery Struyk, an invaluable part of the TMX Shipping team. Avery joined us six years ago while pursuing her B.S. in Industrial Distribution and Logistics from East Carolina University. After earning her degree, she transitioned to a full-time role with TMX, where she has excelled for the past four years. Her favorite part of her job is building connections with customers and witnessing the dynamic supply chain process in action. A fun fact about Avery: she’s currently learning French! Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, boating, fishing, watching ECU football and spending time with her dog, Moose. Join us in recognizing Avery for her dedication and passion!
