The Opportunities-Obstacles Quotient (QO2) Profile helps answer these questions by revealing how individuals and teams approach risk, resilience, and achievement. QO2 is more than a personality trait—it’s a lens through which we interpret challenges, determine our level of risk orientation, and ultimately, shape our success. QO2 is built on five key dimensions, each influencing the way we navigate opportunities and obstacles. 1?? Moving Towards Goals (MTG) Energy People high in MTG Energy are committed to their goals. They push forward, adapt, and persist, even when things get tough. Those with lower MTG Energy tend to lose momentum when faced with uncertainty, sometimes needing extra motivation or structure to keep going. 2?? Multi-Pathways Thinking People high in Multi-Pathways Thinking find it easy to generate alternative solutions when facing a roadblock. They think laterally and dynamically, where those on the lower side of the scale may default to a single, linear approach. 3?? Optimism Optimism is the belief that things will work out, driving confidence and action. People high in optimism may take risks, assume success, and persist in the face of adversity, where those on the lower side tend to hesitate and take a more cautious approach. 4??
