One of Kaiser Permanente’s busiest local pharmacies presented an opportunity to elevate the staff and member experience with a welcome, colorful interior finish refresh. Transparent colored glass provides privacy between members at the service counter, while maintaining visibility for staff across the waiting room. From a design aesthetic and wayfinding perspective, this showstopper color draws members in from the main entrance. Read more on our blog: https://lnkd.in/gDRG66fr

The use of vibrant colors and playful graphics are on display at Kaiser’s remodeled Pediatric Injection Clinic in Santa Rosa where thoughtful healthcare design incorporates subtle, yet fun distractions for children. Ergonomic nurse workstations, updated vaccine prep areas and a finish refresh of the exam rooms brought this space to life. The end result is a positive experience for children and their families! Forget Me Not Farm in Santa Rosa is an organization that nurtures the relationship between children, animals and nature in a therapeutic setting. The TLCD team was excited to volunteer in the garden by laying straw, weeding, and pulling harvested plants. We also got to give (and receive) some love from the farm animals. Get out and volunteer in the community!

How do you make STEM Education fun? By asking students to design and build a model of their ideal "hang out space". Each summer TLCD hosts a group of students from the Mike Hauser Academy at our office for two days of interactive lessons, presentations, and activities. We love planning the curriculum, sharing our passion for architecture and watching the students present their final models! Click on the link to read our full blog post: https://lnkd.in/gFrkXzDa

From early stakeholder engagement to creating detailed renderings, Em Grayho is seeing the Manzanita TK Classroom building through to completion by taking the lead on construction administration. The project will be completed in August in time for the little ones to enjoy the new transitional kindergarten classrooms. “It has been very rewarding to see this project take shape since the early design phase until now. Coordinating with our design team and contractors has enhanced my problem-solving abilities. It is quite heartwarming knowing that we are providing a safe and nurturing?environment for children in this new grade!”
