As the holiday season approaches, we are kicking off our annual tradition of collecting, assembling, and dropping off bikes in participation of the 98.5 KLUC Toy Drive! Every year, our goal is to donate as many bikes as possible with the help of our clients, colleagues, and friends. This year, our goal is to collect and donate 150 bikes to our community! ? The Park at Expo received the Outstanding Plan Award last week at APA Idaho’s 2024 conference. This award recognizes excellence in planning through public engagement and effective implementation. ? The Park is transforming an abandoned racehorse track at the edge of the Boise River into a riverside park envisioned in two regions: the Heart of the Park and the Lowlands. It prioritizes urban biodiversity, year-round active recreation, and nature-based play by creating high-quality, multi-generational experiences for the area. ? The Silverado Ranch Community Center features modern amenities including an indoor walking track with two 3-foot-wide lanes, a demonstration kitchen, exercise and fitness rooms, dance and yoga amenities, an indoor gymnasium with pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts, multipurpose classrooms, meeting rooms, and an arts and crafts area. The 36,900 square foot facility is the first community center to be opened by Clark County in nearly a decade. This project was a much-needed addition to the Silverado Ranch area and will provide an array of activities and health and wellness opportunities to Las Vegas residents. . . . Trellis Paradise Skilled Nursing Facility is a short-term rehabilitation center that provides personalized 24-hour nursing and hospice services with 72 private rooms. The 47,925 square foot facility consists of recreation spaces, dining areas, a full kitchen, offices, a physical therapy space, and patient rooms with restrooms.
