Our team is incredibly excited to announce that TITAN Simulation is a semifinalist in the 2024 Minnesota Cup Education division! TITAN Simulation will compete alongside 10 semifinalist teams for the opportunity to gain funding for our venture. The Minnesota Cup is an annual competition that reaches emerging entrepreneurs throughout the state and connects them with mentorship and resources to accelerate the development of their ventures. Since 2005, MN Cup has given away $5.4 Million in seed capital, taking no equity in exchange. Alumni companies have gone on to raise over $1.1 Billion. TITAN Simulation is Twin Cities based, veteran owned, small business that delivers educational support tools based on patient needs. We aim to reduce medical error with functional anatomic models with sensors for formative feedback and summative assessment. Our tissues look and feel exactly like actual human tissues, and are engineered to be multi-layered, reposable, and repairable. Our models are a display of the physiology of the patient. As an educator, you will never have to supplement your simulation with “the patient is now cool and clammy, and pale” our models do that. You have what you have is what we create. ? We have developed a thorough and efficient method for model development: Much like software, we use agile and scrum. ? We conduct translational science R&D in emulating tissues through Material Science, Engineering, and Art. This is where simulation sciences get real. We create patient specific functional anatomical models that are the display of the patient’s physical findings. These are simulators that look and feel like real people, representing the age, gender, BMI, ethnicity, and pathologies of all humans. ? Functional model development using Quality Functional Design (QFD) with clinically relevant metrics, fidelity analysis (tissue, anatomic, functional, affective), prototyping through commercialization, sales and distribution, and customer service / support. ? We support your Investigational New Device (IND) development with patient specific synthetic tissues that are manufactured with ISO 9001 / 13485 standards. This process creates known engineering constraints consistent for medical device verification up to phase IV of FDA approval without human trials. ? We have assembled a team of extraordinary talent. From subspecialty surgeons and clinicians to nurses, educators, assessment, and military personnel. This team is surrounded by friends and families that represent us as people and patients. We are our greatest assets.

Exciting news! As we dive into the 20th season of Minnesota Cup, we are proud to announce the 90 companies moving forward to the Semifinalist Round. These emerging Minnesota startups will receive support from industry mentors, feedback from experts, education, and networking opportunities throughout the summer. They'll compete for a share of over $400,000 in cash prizes and the chance to accelerate their businesses without giving up equity. We had yet another recording-breaking year, with almost 3,200 Minnesotans participating in the application process.
