Earlier this month we participated in Boise State University's Annual Construction Management Career Fair! This event gave us a great opportunity to meet a lot of talented potential candidates face-to-face. Staying proactive in finding top talent is key to Titan Electric's growth and success, helping us build the skilled, innovative team we need to remain competitive and move our business forward. A big thanks to Krista Hansen (Learning and Development Manager) and Ryan Fey (Associate Project Manager) for leading our efforts and representing Titan Electric with excellence.

Project Feature Friday: We’re thrilled to showcase the stunning work completed on the Bain & Company project! In partnership with Gateway Construction Services, Inc, we transformed over 35,000 square feet across the 46th and 47th floors during an eight-month journey from demolition to completion. The team had the pleasure of working with an exquisite lighting design that perfectly complemented the remarkable architecture of this high-end tenant improvement project. A heartfelt thank you to the current and future leaders of Titan Electric who contributed to creating such an inspiring space for the Bain & Co. team!

Yesterday was a blast at the NWWA Golf Tournament! We were excited to be sponsors at hole #15 and we gave all the players that came through a taste of the island life—whether it was grabbing a Spam Musubi to fuel up, saying cheers over a Kona Brewing Co., or winning prizes and swag giveaways—it was a great event! Mahalo to the NWWA for having us—we can’t wait for next year! Thanks to NWWA for allowing us to support local nonprofit, Treehouse with proceeds from this event. "Started in 1988, Treehouse is the only nonprofit in Washington state focused on the specific educational, material and financial needs of youth in foster care. Its approach is to walk alongside youth and support their unique needs, creating a road to hope and possibility for youth in foster care in Washington state." Thank you to the Titan Electric team for making this event possible: Ted Ness, Britney Hall, Krista Hansen, Aaron Candiloro, Alec Langton, Brody Moen, and Shae Burke!?

We were honored to be approached by our friends at One Workplace with the amazing opportunity to donate lighting installation at Seattle’s YouthCare Seattle - Orion Center. YouthCare opened the Orion Center in 1984. At the time, “it was one of the first programs in the nation to receive a federal grant enabling six agencies working with runaway and homeless youth to co-locate in one building. [Today] the Orion Center serves as a safe and welcoming place for young people ages 12-24 throughout the day.” The Orion Center’s services include: > Warm meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner > Hygiene supplies such as showers, laundry, clothing, and lockers > Afternoon drop-in services with activities such as tutoring, yoga, art, cooking, and classes > Case managers who work with young people to reduce barriers and set goals for long-term housing and stability > Onsite clinic run by Kaiser Permanente ... and more! We worked with PLS on the donation of materials and set up for installation. Thanks to Jon Osborne and Kristin Hill from our Service Department for coordinating the installation logistics, and a huge thanks to Steve McCall who installed the light fixtures. We’re grateful for the opportunity to invest our resources into YouthCare - The Orion Center, an exceptional place that is serving youth in our area in incredible ways. Swipe through the photos to see the before and after!

On Friday, July 19th, a group of Titan employees made the journey to Federal Way to participate in BNBuilders' Charity Softball game benefitting the WIGA College Scholarship Fund. We had a great turnout both for the team participation as well as a great cheer section. We spoke with Krista to get a recap of the event: “The Titan Softball Team showcased our competitive spirit at the BNB Charity Softball Tournament. We played 5 total games in the tournament, ultimately making it to the championship against Acco for Game #5. Our defense was rock-solid, resulting in a shutout championship victory! Every game we played featured outstanding defensive plays in the field and several clutch hits that contributed to our dominant performance. We are so appreciative to those who came out to cheer us on!” We're grateful for the chance to play and we hope to maintain our title in next year's tournament! ??

At Titan Electric we are excited about this year’s Summer Internship Program and the outstanding students that have joined the team! Our goal is to make the program both challenging and fun. We proactively invest both time and resources to grow and develop the intern participants as much as possible. Even in the internship program, no one will ever be a number—we recognize and value the contributions of each person and appreciate them as a part of the Titan Electric family! Meet our 2024 summer interns, Andrew, Arturo, and Isaac: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM? > ANDREW: Seattle Kraken! > ARTURO: FC Barcelona > ISAAC: Edmonton Oilers (I’m not Canadian, but my sister and her husband live in Canada. I like to visit and watch the team play!) IF YOU COULD TALK TO YOUR 5-YEAR-OLD SELF AND WANTED TO IMPRESS THEM, WHAT WOULD YOU TELL THEM? > ANDREW: I would let myself know that I graduated magna cum laude in Mechanical Engineering. > ARTURO: I would tell my five-year-old self to never settle and strive for the best. > ISAAC: That we have progressively made each and every goal. Even the ones that seem like we missed it worked out in the end. WHAT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO? > ANDREW: Going surfing with my family in Canada. > ARTURO: I am looking forward to meeting new people and getting the full Titan experience in different departments. > ISAAC: Graduating college. I never really thought I would make it to college, let alone get a bachelor’s degree. WHAT IS ONE APP ON YOUR PHONE THAT YOU COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT? > ANDREW: I could not live without Spotify. > ARTURO: The app I would not be able to live without would be TikTok! > ISAAC: Spotify. Drives wouldn’t be the same without my music/podcasts.

We jump at the opportunity to share a completed project as it represents the excellent work we stand for, as well as the excellent partners we're grateful to work with! The Wizards of the Coast project was a 90,000 sq ft high-end TI that spanned across 3 floors at the Southport Complex in Renton. We spoke with the project's Superintendent, Tony Avolonitis:?? ? "The Wizards of the Coast Project would not have been successful without talented electricians, strong foreman leadership, and an involved project management staff. The project had challenging moments regarding the specialty lighting and compressed schedule.?For us to overcome such challenges it was imperative for us to have a GC partner who is intimately involved and always willing to work hand in hand... thankfully for us, Venture General Contracting was just that kind of GC! To overcome the challenges of an aggressive schedule, it was crucial?that we had a good staff and team?to coordinate the day-to-day work and manage the crew." ? Included in the project scope were several specialty suites including an interactive game room, game testing, as well as an audio production room. The project was completed in an 8-month time period.?We are so proud of every single person on the Titan Electric team that helped make this project a success! Titan Electric has always operated under the “Work Hard, Play Hard” mentality! A recent tradition that we’re excited about is our 3rd Thursdays Bowling Night. Each month, all Titan employees are invited to RSVP and hit the lanes. We spoke with Project Manager, Kyle Miller, who started bowling night:? ? “3rd?Thursday has become a standing monthly tradition that many of us look forward to. What started as just a way for the Precon Department to have some fun outside of the office environment, quickly became a catalyst for bonding across all departments within Titan. It’s awesome to get to know coworkers that you normally don’t have the chance to interact with on a day-to-day basis. Sadly, our 3rd?Thursday Bowling Event is currently homeless due the sell of Tech City Kirkland property to developers – we are currently searching for a new venue.” We're hopeful that the crew will find a new bowling location soon to continue this competitive, cross-department, fun bonding time!?

As we prepare to welcome our Summer Interns at Titan Electric, we're looking back at our booth at the Washington State University Career Fair earlier this year!? ? We want our interns to learn as much as possible—both about what interests them specifically within the electrical industry and about who we are as a company. To accomplish this, we designed a unique and one-of-a-kind internship that allows our student interns to work within various departments: Estimating, Project Coordination, and Project Management. Our belief is that through this structure interns will glean a significant understanding of multiple facets of the business, which provides students with a richer and more comprehensive experience. We want our Titan Electric interns to be excited about their career potential and to be invigorated by the work. We firmly believe that our three-department approach will help determine what each person's future dream role may be! Our aim is to make this challenging and fun. We are proactively investing both time and resources to grow and develop our intern group as much as possible. Even in our internship program, no one will ever be a number—we recognize and value the contributions of each person. Because when you're on the Titan Electric team, you're a part of the Titan Electric family. Thanks to our vendors who made it possible: Pine & Poppy Event Rentals , Image Source, Inc, Crumbl Cookies
