Have you had a chance to review your website yet this year? If you haven't now is the perfect time to look for some key features to enhance vistor's experience and connect with more people. In our latest vlog, we explore interactive tools to add to your #website, like: ??Chat Feature: Consider adding an AI chatbot to handle common questions or a live chat for real-time interaction, which is our preference since it builds connections and serves as a handy tool for existing clients. ??Calendar Scheduler: If your goal is to book appointments or consultations, a calendar tool makes it easier for people to connect, reducing back-and-forth communication. ??Videos: Incorporating videos can add a personal touch by showcasing your personality and helping to?explain complicated or detailed?services. ??Resource Hub: Use your website as a central hub for #resources, such as links to client portals how-to guides, or other marketing platforms so people can access everything easily. ??Avoid Overcomplication: Before you go adding all these new bells and whistles, it's important to make sure that all tools are beneficial for your visitors and your company. Avoid adding features with a steep learning curve. Learn more about how to thoughtfully integrate these features and enhance the #userexperience on your website?in our latest vlog: https://lnkd.in/gsQ3-dy8

How many times have you been ready to buy, or call, or get in touch?and you can't figure how to actually take action? From confusing site menus to overly complex content and buried forms or buttons, there are many different things that can get in the way of a web visitor getting started. That's why it's so important to follow best practices for #webdesign, which are based on visitor behavior, if you want your website to be used as a tool for #conversion and connection. Our recent design for Atwood Capital incorporates these key best practices: ?Simple pages that give visitors exactly what they need, without cumbersome navigation or unnecessary fluff ?Captivating visuals that make it easier for people to scan content that acknowledges their needs, questions, and goals- with very few?long paragraphs ?Straightfoward 3-step process with an easy-to-access,?direct "Book a Consultation"?button, making it easier than ever for people to get started Check out the full design for yourself here!?https://atwoodcap.com/

As we get further into the New Year, a lot of us are likely trying to keep things fresh with website updates & new content. It can be exciting to work through this refresh, but it can also be quite the challenge to present new #content effectively. Here are a few key things to keep in mind as you update your #website ???Design vs. Content: Which is more important? Both are essential, but how you present the content really makes a difference since people often skim through websites. Instead of long paragraphs, focus on delivering quick pieces of information ??Formatting is Key: Use things like drop-downs, accordions, or flip boxes to break up content. This interactive approach keeps your content engaging without overwhelming your visitors. ???Clarity Over Jargon: Ensure the content is clear, concise, & free of industry jargon. Your goal is to make the information accessible to everyone, not just experts in the field. ???Leverage Video: Consider using videos to supplement text-heavy content, which can effectively convey complex information in an engaging & digestible way. What stands out to you when you land on a website for the first time? Is it the colors, the images, the movement, or the content? Visuals tend to capture our interest first, and #content encourages us to continue exploring the #website. Since people decide whether to keep scrolling or look elsewhere in just a?few seconds,?it's important to blend these two elements together in a clean &?consistent way. A great example of this effective balance is our recent redesign for Panoramic Financial.?Some of the most noteworthy features include: ?? Welcoming, simple content that speaks directly to their ideal clients ?? Clean icons &?graphics that draw attention without distracting visitors ?? Personalized videos that spark connection & encourage interaction ?? Custom photos of the advisors & candid-style images to represent potential clients All of these elements work together to create a website that feels inviting and straightforward enough for people to explore. Whether you're plannig to launch a website soon or get started on a redesign, it's always important to remember that websites aren't a "set-it-and-forget-it" platform. Your #website should evolve with your business and #marketing strategies. We recommend: Keeping it active? Regularly update your site to stay relevant and keep your audience engaged, whether it be posting blogs or sharing videos, resources, or industry insights Checking in on content?? Don't forget to review your website every quarter or so to make sure key pieces of content are accurate, such as team members, services, or events Leveraging analytics?? Assess your monthly analytics reports to see where traffic comes from and which pages are most popular. You can use this to refine your marketing strategies and maximize engagement Aligning your site with your marketing ?? Your website is the hub of your marketing, so all channels (social media, email, Google AdWords, etc.) should ultimately drive traffic to your site Check out our newest vlog by TinyFrog CEO, Mikel Bruce for more: https://lnkd.in/g7eYt37f

Most websites will have multiple types of audiences viewing it - potential and existing customers, employees, and partners to name just a few. When your #website has dedicated information and resources for different types of people, it's important to make it as easy as possible for people to find what is most relevant to them. Our new redesign for the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is primarily focused on guiding people to the right pages so that they can find the information and/or take the action that they came to the site for. The key audiences for this site are: ?? People looking for food banks they can access ?? People wanting to donate ?? People wanting to volunteer With specific & succinct #content and #CTA buttons both in the main menu and throughout the website, members of each audience are able to easily understand what San Diego Food Bank offers for them and how they can get involved. You've likely heard the terms 'Brand Mission,' 'Value Proposition,' and 'Core Competencies.' But what do these actually mean, and how do they relate to your website? ?? Let's break it down: ? Brand Mission: This defines your business's purpose, values, and background. It’s the foundation of everything you do. ?? To craft yours, ask yourself:?Why did I start my company? What do I want to be known for? ? Web-Based Value Proposition: This is a quick summary of who you are, what you offer, and who you serve. Think of it as a condensed elevator pitch. ?? Place this in the?top "hero" section of your website for maximum impact. An example of this is "Personalized Wealth Management for Young Families" ? Core Competencies: These are the unique strengths that align with your ideal client's needs and set you apart from competitors. ?? Share your competencies throughout your messaging, such as your team’s experience, unique products or processes, and specialized services. Together, these answer the key question every visitor has:?"Why should I choose you?"?If you clearly define and showcase these on your website, visitors will recognize your unique value. ??
