"Amazon is leaning in on AI across the board," said Tinuiti's Ken Magner when asked by eComEngine, LLC for his advice for Amazon sellers. "In order to stay competitive in 2025 and beyond,?being aware of the latest and greatest, while also being an early adopter and tester, is extremely important. "It is always best to involved with something while it is in its infancy so you can learn what works, what does not, and ultimately how it can have the most positive impact on the consumer journey and ultimately your business's bottom line." Amazon's impact on the streaming ad market is opening the CTV door to SMBs. According to this recent piece on Digiday, "Blue-chip brand advertisers may throw the best parties at Cannes Lions, but it's small businesses that form the bedrock of the ad industry's most powerful players," and Amazon is happy to have them. At Tinuiti, we've seen client investment on Prime Video ads increase eightfold between the first quarter of 2024 and the same period this year. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gFYpPMiP

The hottest advertising platform in the US is the one that’s trying to monetize mobile games of solitaire. In 2024, the mobile-app advertising platform AppLovin brought in $4.7 billion in revenue, a YoY increase of 43%. But are brands lovin' the platform? We're not so sure. Harry Browne spoke with Ryan Barwick at Marketing Brew about the platform's measurement capabilities (or lack thereof). "We can’t really say with any confidence that their measurement is good or bad. I’m not trying to say AppLovin has bad measurement; I’m just saying it’s not ours, and we can’t advocate for it." Read more: https://lnkd.in/gUwaAH_V

Amazon’s influence is pulling streaming ad costs downward. Tinuiti's Robert Avellino spoke with Seb Joseph and Krystal Scanlon at Digiday about the trend: "The pricing levers Amazon offers allows us to make true apples-to-apples comparisons with other publishers like Netflix and Disney+, ensuring we’re maximizing every advertising dollar for our clients. "This evolution isn’t just about cost efficiency — it’s about driving real outcomes at scale. We’re excited to lean in even further in 2025 and continue unlocking the full potential of Amazon’s STV offering." Read more: https://lnkd.in/e8x9MXAy
